Creative Development
Led the development and production of Beastly Crimes show, from acquiring and adapting the literary property to assembling an international co-production and securing a distribution deal with Mediawan.
Production Services
Coordinated on-the-ground production for two ARTE documentary films, Odessa (2013) and AIDS in Ukraine (2015), facilitating complex local production across Ukraine. Subsequently production-managed A Magical Journey, an international feature co-production between Ukraine, France and Belgium.
Sales & Acquisitions
Directed international sales and distribution strategies at Wizart and GFM, driving worldwide licensing initiatives and building strategic partnerships with major theatrical distributors and streaming platforms, including Netflix (Secret Magic Control Agency) and Paramount Pictures (Paws of Fury).

Advising mk2 Films on their acquisition strategy for animated feature films, evaluating and supporting projects including Muyi by Julien Chheng (Annecy Contrechamp 2026 selection), Fleur by Rémi Chayé, Outfoxed! by Paul Berger, and the international sales strategy for Mars Express by Jérémy Périn.
Advised on the international sales of an award-winning portfolio of children's content at CAKE Entertainment, overseeing distribution across Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Consulted for Unifrance on AnimaMundi, a Creative Europe-supported initiative fostering international partnerships and strengthening collaboration between the European and Asian animation industries.

Anna Pokorska is a producer and development executive whose career bridges international sales, acquisitions, co-production, and original content development. She began at the Odesa International Film Festival before joining leading international companies, including Interfilm (representing Warner Bros. in the CIS region), Amedia/HBO, Wizart Animation, and GFM Animation, where she worked across international sales, partnerships, and co-productions. She has also advised companies including mk2 Films, Unifrance, and Cake Entertainment on animation strategy, acquisitions, and international positioning.
In 2018, Anna expanded into production and original content development with the animated series Beastly Crimes. Four years later, she founded Dikanka Films, an independent UK production company developing feature films, animation, fiction series, and documentaries rooted in authentic stories with international resonance.
Anna is currently producing and developing a slate of international co-productions spanning fiction, animation, and documentary. Her projects include The Night Before Christmas, an animated feature inspired by Mykola Hohol's classic tale, alongside documentary and fiction projects created in collaboration with filmmakers across Europe and North America.
